THE WPSL SEES GROWTH IN THE MIDWEST WITH INDIANA EXPANSION TEAM

Lady Victory FC Will Become The Second Club For The League Based In Indianapolis

WESTFIELD, Indiana – The Women’s Premier Soccer League welcomes Lady Victory FC to the league for the upcoming 2021 season. The club joins WPSL veteran, FC Pride, in the Indianapolis metro area.

Lady Victory FC is committed to the enrichment and advancing of women’s soccer in the state of Indiana as well as the Midwest Region through player development.

The women’s game is really taking off, and we are proud to be part of its development in Indiana and the Midwest,Chris McGrath, owner and executive director, said.

By joining the WPSL, the club is dedicated to providing admirable training and crafting an elite player environment for athletes to continue to evolve and ultimately creating an avenue to take their game to the next level.

For the inaugural season, Paul Dolinsky has been appointed the head coaching position. Dolinsky has nearly two decades of experience in youth soccer as well as professional playing experience in the Netherlands and Major League Soccer (MLS) and has made appearances for the U.S. Youth National Team (USYNT). Dolinsky has earned two national titles and developed multiple USYNT players during his time with San Diego Surf Club.

Lady Victory FC has selected Joe Sochacki and Jimmy Carson to serve as assistant coaches. Sochacki, a former Butler University men’s soccer head coach, has extensive experience on the youth level ranging from Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) and Development Academy (DA). Carson has over 19 years of coaching experience and currently coaches two MLS Next teams for the Indiana Fire Academy. Both coaches hold USSF A Licenses.

We have a great league in the WPSL, and the opportunity to join it with respected coaches, Paul Dolinsky, Joe Sochacki, and Jimmy Carson – who have a track record of fielding competitive teams; is excellent,” McGrath said.

Home matches will be played at Guerin Catholic High School in Noblesville, Indiana. The club will offer season tickets for adults and children, as well as single-game tickets at the gate.

The club has also announced three primary sponsors for the inaugural season – Sogility, Passport Health, Royal United Mortgage; each locally headquartered in the Indianapolis metro area.

Lady Victory FC has also paved a way within the community by establishing different avenues for their players to give back such as hosting summer camps, soccer training for youth ages two-to-five through the Little Embers program, and with TOPSoccer programs, organized by U.S. Youth Soccer, for young athletes with disabilities.
