OKLAHOMA CITY – The Women’s Premier Soccer League has announced the schedule for the second division of the Carolinas Conference today for the upcoming 2021 season - the Atlantic Division.

The Atlantic Division will feature teams down the Atlantic coastline of South Carolina, Georgia, and Northern Florida. Beaufort County Rush FC (Hilton Head, SC), Charleston Fleet FC, Florida Elite Soccer Academy (Jacksonville, FL), United Soccer Alliance (Jacksonville, FL), and Savannah Spirit SC (Savannah, GA) will each represent the division for the 2021 season.

Florida Elite Soccer Academy and Savannah Spirit SC will play their first season as a member of the WPSL. Both teams entered the league ahead of the 2020 season before the COVID-19 Pandemic hit.

Beaufort County Rush FC and Charleston Fleet FC will both return for their fourth WPSL seasons. Charleston Fleet won the division with a one-loss regular-season record in 2017, outscoring their opponents 23/5.

United Soccer Alliance, formerly Florida Sol FC, entered the league in 2011 and has since made two playoff appearances and went undefeated in 2013 to become regular-season champs of their conference. Most notably, their history with the league includes producing top players that have since reached the highest stage both professionally and internationally such as Emily Sonnett (2015) and Morgan Gautrat – formerly Brian (2009-13).

The season will kick off on May 22nd and play a 20-match schedule through July 14 with each team play four matches home and away.

The first match of the schedule will feature Florida Elite Soccer Academy hosting United Soccer Alliance.
