ROB KEHOE JR. JOINS WPSL AS DIRECTOR OF WOMEN'S COLLEGE SOCCER

Kehoe to Offer Valuable Knowledge of the Collegiate Platform and His Nationally Recognized Winning Ways Training Program Curriculum

OKLAHOMA CITY (June 14, 2022) – The Women’s Premier Soccer League has announced the hiring of Rob Kehoe Jr. as its Director of Women’s College Soccer. Kehoe brings to the league extensive knowledge and experience of women’s soccer at the collegiate level which will greatly serve the hundreds of student-athletes competing in the WPSL each summer.
 

Partnering with Rob could not have come at a better time,” Sean Jones, WPSL president, said. “Rob’s relationships and internal knowledge of college soccer enable the WPSL to be proactive in providing the best opportunities for our student-athletes, which represent more than 70 percent of our annual player pool.”


Kehoe is a founder and director of the Intercollegiate Coach Association Coalition which represents over 20 college sports groups. Until his recent retirement, Kehoe also served as the Director of College Programs for United Soccer Coaches where he performed his role as the primary liaison and advocate for women’s and men’s college soccer with entities like the NCAA and NAIA amongst other responsibilities since 2008.
 

In addition to his extensive resume on the collegiate administrative platform, Kehoe is a nationally recognized educator through the Winning Ways Training curriculum he developed that presents the essentials for player and team performance excellence, leadership, and skill improvement. Kehoe’s Winning Ways programs have been presented nationally and internationally for business, education and sports groups, and his programs in athletics have contributed to championship performances in Olympic, professional, college, high school and youth sports.

Winning Ways programs have been presented coast to coast in the United States at many of the most recognized universities and colleges, including Stanford University, University of North Carolina, University of Notre Dame, and Army West Point. WPSL alumnae have also benefited from Kehoe’s teachings and programs like Hannah Davison who played for the Chicago Red Stars Reserves. Davison now plays professionally in Sweden with AIK Football Damer.
