The Women’s Premier Soccer League rolled out its full 2024 schedule today. West Region play opens this year this year on Saturday, May 11. The 2024 West Region schedule features 148 regular season matches between May 18 and July 7.

Format

• Champions of the Desert, Northwest, and Pac North conferences are determined by regular season record.
• The Coastal and Plymouth divisions play to determine the So Cal Conference winner on July 6.
• The Northwest Conference winner will host the West Region Playoffs on July 13-14, with the champion moving on to the WPSL Championship on July 20-21 in Stillwater, Okla.

El Paso Surf kick off its fourth season with back-to-back home matches, taking on RSL Southern Arizona in its league debut Saturday, May 18, followed a day later by conference-mainstay, SC del Sol on Sunday. Del Sol shocked the 2022 WPSL Champions California Storm (Pac North) in the West Region finals before falling in the WPSL Championship semifinal versus Central Region winner Salvo SC (Northern Conference).

Royals AZ and Arizona Arsenal Soccer Club open their second and third seasons respectively against each other on Friday, May 23. Entering its 12^th season, FC Tucson opens conference play on Saturday, May 25 at El Paso Surf.

All eyes will be on the Pacific Northwest when National Women’s Soccer League heavyweights Portland Thorns II and Seattle Reign FC II move one of the most heated rivalries in soccer to the WPSL on Sunday, May 19, with the return match on Saturday, May 25.

The Westside Metros FC enter its ninth season after earning a playoff berth and a conference title in 2023. The suburban Portland-based veterans open their season with a big derby versus Portland Thorns II, who will have two games already under its belt by this fixture.

Vancouver Victory makes its WPSL debut with two big matchups at Portland Thorns II on Saturday, May 18, then host Seattle Reign FC II Sunday, May 26.

Spokane SC Shadow kicks off its fifth season at home against reigning conference champions, Westside Metros FC on June 1.

Expansion side Iron Rose FC opens conference play taking on second-year WPSL side, San Francisco Elite Soccer Club on Saturday, May 11. Week two features matchups on Saturday, May 18 between San Francisco Elite Soccer Club at Napa Valley 1839 FC and Iron Rose FC hosting FC Davis.

BattleBorn FC opens the 2024 season on the road against the newcomers, Iron Rose FC on Friday, May 24. Both Fresno Freeze and San Ramon FC open their seasons San Francisco Nighthawks on May 25 and June 9 respectively.

Two of the WPSL’s founding teams take the field for the 26^th season: the San Francisco Nighthawks open the season at home versus the Fresno Freeze Saturday, May 25, and the California Storm host Lamorinda United Thursday, May 30.

The 26^th edition of veteran matchup pitting the two founding clubs takes place Tuesday, June 25 when the San Francisco Knighthawks host the California Storm at historic Kezar Stadium in Week 8.

San Diego Strikers kicks off its fourth season at home against ALBION San Diego on Sunday, May 26. So Cal Union FC hosts San Diego Surf the same day. The division’s lone expansion side, Rebels Soccer Club, makes its WPSL debut Friday, May 31 at So Cal Union FC.
