FORT WORTH VAQUERAS  0-7  SOUTHSTAR FC

Veteran WPSL side SouthStar FC (1-0-0) got the best of debutants Fort Worth Vaqueras (0-0-1) in the first edition of the CowTown Derby. Samya Mitchel, Lauren Omholt, Lola Foley, and Shanti Weddington scored first half goals to put the game out of reach. Quinn Cornog, Omholt, and  Mitchell added goals in the second half. Aubrey Brown earned the clean sheet in goal. 

Friday, May 23

FUTBOLERA SELECT  1-1  (10C) AUSTIN RISE FC

Tida Sido scored with four minutes to play to salvage a point for Futbolera Select (0-1-0) in the club’s home and season opener versus Austin Rise FC (1-1-0). Katie Gernsbacher put the visitors up 1-0 in the 19th minute.

Wednesday, May 21

LOU FUSZ ATHLETIC  7-0  JUNCTION FC

Mia Devrouax tallied a hat trick, Madison Vasiloff had a brace, and Rylee Howard and Olivia Baca had individual goals as Lou Fusz Athletic (1-0-0) opened its season with a 7-0 home win over Junction FC (0-0-1). Caroline Ritter earned the clean sheet in goal for Lou Fusz.

(16/6)FC PRIDE  4-2  MISSOURI REIGN

FC Pride moved to 2-0-0 on the season with a 4-2 win over Missouri Reign (0-0-1). Lauren Adam, Emery Newlin, and Bryn Maxwell scored goals to make it 3-0 for the hosts in the first half. Holland Hawkins pulled a goal back for the visitors in the 71st minute. Caroline Kelley made it 4-1 five minutes later. Hawkings tallied her second goal on the night to make it 4-2 with seven minutes to play.

(9C) Union KC  3-0  Side FC OKC

Union KC (1-0-0) kicked off its third WPSL season with a 3-0 win over Side FC OKC (0-0-1). Adriana Benassim, Emma Thurston, and Allison Estanich scored for Union KC in the win. Maddison Sibbing earned the clean sheet in goal.

PEORIA CITY  0-2  LOU FUSZ ATHLETIC

Lou Fusz Athletic (2-0-0) remains perfect on the season after topping league debutants, Peoria City (0-0-2) 2-0 in Peoria’s home debut. Meghan Belrose scored in the 50th minute and Rylee Howard scored seven minutes later to give Lou Fusz the win. Caroline Ritter earned her second consecutive clean sheet in goal.

FC WICHITA  4-0  OKLAHOMA CITY FC

Oklahoma City FC (1-0-0) kicked off its 17th WPSL season with a 4-0 win at FC Wichita (0-0-1). Rylee McLanahan opened scoring in the 27th minute, followed by Sabrinia Guzman a minute later. Chloe Murphy made it 3-0 two minutes before the halftime whistle, and Samantha Guzman made it 4-0 five minutes from full time. Breanna Wooten earned the clean sheet in goal. 

Saturday, May 24

FC WICHITA  1-0  KC COURAGE

FC Wichita (1-0-1) opens its home schedule Saturday with a 1-0 over winless KC Courage (0-0-2). Aubrey Winter scored the match’s lone goal in the 54th minute to give FC Wichita its first win of the season. Nia Baker earned the clean sheet in goal for Wichita.

NORTHERN COLORADO RAIN  0-1  PSD ACADEMY

Taylor Evans scored from the penalty spot in the 14th minute to put PSD Academy (1-0-0) over league debutants Northern Colorado Rain (0-0-1), 1-0 in both club’s opening match of 2025.

(8/3) LA ROCA FC  1-2 (7/2) UTAH AVALANCHE

Oakley Anderson scored from the penalty spot in the 72nd minute to break a 1-1 deadlock and give the No. 7 Utah Avalanche (2-0-0) three huge points at No. 8 La Roca FC (1-0-1). Sadie Beardall opened the scoring for the visitors in the 11th minute. The lead held just past the hour mark when Kylie Olsen leveled the score. Anderson put her spot kick away 11 minutes later to move the Avalanche into second place in the Wasatch Division table. 

Thursday, May 22

(7/2) UTAH AVALANCHE  8-1  GRIFFINS FC

Kya Newton and Ainsil Heap tallied braces, and Danica Linceford, Sadie Beardall, Eliza Smith, and Isabelle Smith all scored goals as the No. 7 Utah Avalanche (3-0-0) rolled over Griffins FC (0-0-3) 8-1. Zakrie Smith scored Griffins FC first goal of the season, giving the visitors a 1-0 that lasted 16 minutes.

METASPORT FC  2-0  CITY SC UTAH

MetaSport FC (1-0-1) picked up its first WPSL win, topping City SC Utah (0-0-3) 2-0. Ellie Hendrix put the hosts in the lead in the 24th minute, and Bailee Ballard doubled the lead in the 70th minute. Ellie Rafajkop and Ally Collinwood split the clean sheet in goal for MetaSport.

Wednesday, May 21

MILWAUKEE CITY AFC  0-5  BAVARIAN UNITED SC

Bavarian United SC (2-0-0) picked up its second win of the 2025 campaign on the road with a 5-0 win at league debutants, Milwaukee City AFC (0-0-2). Marisa Grzesiak, Grace Hoytini, Anna Sikorski, Sarah Klopp, and Emily Fix scored for Bavarian. Kate Nonn earned the clean sheet in goal.  

 

Saturday, May 24

(17/7) FC MILWAUKEE TORRENT  4-0  MILWAUKEE CITY AFC

The No. 17 Milwaukee Torrent (1-0-0) rolled past Milwaukee City AFC (0-0-3) in the first derby match between the two clubs. Haley Christianson opened scoring in the fourth minute, followed by Lauren Hernandez in the 19th. Maya Wilson made it 3-0 five minutes from halftime, and Sophia Balisteri closed out the scoring with ten minutes to play in the match. Kate Hompa earned the clean sheet in goal for Torrent. 

 

Sunday, May 25

(12/5) GREEN BAY GLORY  4-1  CHICAGO HOUSE AC

The No. 12 Green Bay Glory (2-0-0) remained unbeaten on the season topping Chicago House AC (0-0-2) 4-1. Ryley Winrich put the hosts in the lead in the seventh minute. The 1-0 scoreline held until the second half when Trudy Quidzinski tallied her first of two on the day in the 49th minute. Emily Rossi pulled a goal back for the visitors in the 56th. Quidzinski made it 3-1 from the penalty spot just after the hour mark, and Emily McCarthy made it 4-1 with five minutes to play.

Thursday, May 22

(10/4) SALVO SC  6-0  MANITOU F.C. 

Davy Mokelke bagged a hat trick, and Elle Wildman tallied a brace as No. 10 Salvo SC (1-0-0) rolled over Manitou F.C. (0-0-1) in both club’s season opener. Riley Lijewski rounded out the scoring for Salvo. Ayden Ganger earned the clean sheet.
