Davy Mokelke helped Salvo SC secure its first win of the 2025 season when it hosted St. Croix Legacy in Matchweek Three. This game was Mokelke’s return after recovering from compartment syndrome surgery. The University of Minnesota forward opened scoring with a goal in the 13’ minute to put Salvo in front early. The forward added a second goal in the 30’ and completed her hat trick in the 52’. Mokelke did not play her freshman season with the Gophers in Fall 2024 and prepares for her sophomore year this Fall.

Lou Fusz Athletic kicked off its 2025 campaign with two big wins in Matchweek Three where the Missouri side didn’t allow a single goal in 180 minutes thanks to Caroline Ritter in goal. The Lindenwood University freshman protected the goal the full 90 minutes of each game without conceding a goal. After a big home opener 7-0 win, Ritter secured Lou Fusz first road win against a tough Peoria City side. The debutants gave everything it had at goal, but Ritter kept them off the scoresheet with eight acrobatic saves that caught the attention of the broadcast team. The St. Louis native tallied 11 saves on the week.
Ritter started 15 of Lindenwood’s 16 games during the Fall season and recorded a 9-3-3 record in the net with eight shutouts. Ritter boasted .843 save percentage and a 0.74 goals against average. Ritter was named Second Team All-OVC and OVC All-Newcomer Team.

Aubrey Kulpa

Aubrey Kulpa has put expansion side Sporting CT on notice after a dominant Matchweek Three performance in the Connecticut side’s two games against Albany Rush and Kingston Capitals. The Penn State sophomore scored a brace against Albany while recording 65 minutes of play. Against Kingston, Kulpa only played 45 minutes of the match and collected a hat trick in 18 minutes to score Sporting CT’s first three goals in the game. The Cromwell, Ct. native also tallied two assists on the week.
In her freshman season with Penn State, Kulpa played 23 games, scoring seven goals and tallying three assists.

Anna Buckwalter
Defender, Reading United A.C.

Anna Buckwalter contributed defensively and offensively during Reading United A.C.’s first game of the season in Matchweek Three. The defender recorded 60 minutes of action while keeping Hershey FC off the scoresheet. The Binghamton University sophomore added to Reading’s attacking dimension that saw her assist on the opening goal and again in the 30’ to secure the home-opener win.
The Birdsboro, Pa. native appeared in 18 games her freshman season with the Bearcats and recording 80min of action/per game where she tallied two goals. Buckwalter was named America East Rookie of the Year, second team all-conference, and America East Rookie of the Week five times – a conference record for a freshman. Buckwalter was also named to the All-Rookie Team.

Taylor Hamlett
Forward, West Florida Flames

Taylor Hamlett and the West Florida Flames traveled to the No. 1 team in the South Region and No.4 in the WPSL to face Jacksonville Armada FC in a thrilling eight-goal fixture. The forward helped the Flames to an early advantage on the top-ranked Armada with goals in the 14’ and 66’ min.
During her time at Miami University (Ohio), Hamlett started 50/51 games between 2022-2024 while scoring 18 goals and tallying six assists. Hamlett served as team captain for the Redhawks’ 2024 season where she set a school record with 16 shots in a game and recorded three game-winning goals. Hamlett was named to the All-Midwest Region Team and earned First-Time All-MAC honors while being recognized twice as MAC Offensive Player of the Week.

Katherine Ardoin returned from three major surgeries to give the Florida Roots its first win of the season over Pensacola FC Academy in Matchweek Three. Ardoin made eight saves including a crucial stop in the 75’ to prevent a go-ahead penalty and secure the Roots win.

In her first game as a WPSL player, Amelia Dominguez scored two goals in FC Premier’s 3-0 win over ALBION San Diego in Matchweek Three. Dominguez recorded 60 min of play while scoring the opening goal in the 29’ and collecting her brace in stoppage time of the first half to give FC Premier a two-goal lead at the break.
In her freshman year at UC Riverside, Dominguez led in points, goals, shots, and shots on goal. Dominguez was named to the All-Big West Freshman Team and earned honorable mention for All-Big West. The Covina, Calif. native will play her sophomore season this Fall with the University of Kentucky.

Tori Snyder opened her WPSL season with the Westside Metros FC in Matchweek Three on the road against Seattle Reign FC II. Snyder was relentless on the attack out of the back, serving up 10 crosses, 3 shots, and the game-winning assist as an outside back. Defensively Snyder allowed 0 shots from her side of the field and helped the Metros to a shutout in its season opener.
In her career at the University of Vermont, Snyder started 18 of the 45 games played while recording 2,079 minutes. For her senior season in 2024, Snyder started a career-high 14 games of the 17 she appeared in and registered one assist in the Catamounts’ win over NJIT.
