Lou Fusz Athletic kicked off its 2025 campaign with two big wins in Matchweek Three where the Missouri side didn’t allow a single goal in 180 minutes thanks to Caroline Ritter in goal. The Lindenwood University freshman protected the goal the full 90 minutes of each game without conceding a goal. After a big home opener 7-0 win, Ritter secured Lou Fusz first road win against a tough Peoria City side. The debutants gave everything it had at goal, but Ritter kept them off the scoresheet with eight acrobatic saves that caught the attention of the broadcast team. The St. Louis native tallied 11 saves on the week.

Ritter started 15 of Lindenwood’s 16 games during the Fall season and recorded a 9-3-3 record in the net with eight shutouts. Ritter boasted .843 save percentage and a 0.74 goals against average. Ritter was named Second Team All-OVC and OVC All-Newcomer Team.
