St. Croix Legacy entered Matchweek Four off a season-opening win and a bye week; a recipe needed to host conference powerhouse, Salvo SC who came in as the No. 8 nationally ranked team and No. 3 in the Central Region.
 

By the 60’ min, the match was level at 1-1 after Salvo equalized and found momentum to press onward. With the final minutes heading toward an even draw, forward Tatum Trettel netted the game-winning goal in stoppage to gift St. Croix the upset win.
 

Trettel, redshirt sophomore for St. Thomas University, played 16 games for the Tommies in 2024 and recorded three goals and an assist on the season.

Breanna Wooten
Goalkeeper, Oklahoma City FC

Breanna Wooten helped Oklahoma City FC to two wins in Matchweek Four where she split minutes with fellow standout keeper Callie Sullivan. With 90 mins recorded in the net on the week, the junior from Oklahoma Christian University secured two shutouts. 
 

Wooten played over 700 minutes for Oklahoma Christian in the 2024 season across eight matches where she tallied a career-high 72 saves. This feat while only conceding 14 goals earned her recognized on the All-LSC Third Team.

 


 
 
 

 

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

 

Brooke Edwards

Forward, LVU Rush

In its second game of the season, Brooke Edwards helped LVU Rush to its first win of 2025 off a first-half brace and a third in the final 10 minutes of the 4-1 victory.  The sophomore from Old Dominion University opened the scoring in just the first minute of play against Hershey FC and followed it up with a second goal just nine minutes later to double LVU’s lead. 
 

 

LVU played a second match this week two days later and Edwards tallied the equalizer against HEX Tempest in the 52’ to bring them level 1-1 before falling to a 90+ stunner.
 

In the 2024 college season, Edwards made six starts in 20 games for her freshman campaign while recording two goals and two assists on the year.

Bella Douglas

Defender, Clarkstown Soccer Club

Bella Douglas helped Clarkstown Soccer Club open its 2025 campaign with two wins in back-to-back away games where the conference newcomers outscored its opponents 5-1.

 


“[Bella Douglas] was the leader in the back breaking up every play,  we only conceded one goal in two games against two very good teams,” Danny Samimi, Clarkstown head coach, said. “She is also such a threat offensively as an outside back that gets forward and gets balls in the box. I moved her to defensive midfield role in the STA game to help us break up the play.”

 

The Boston College junior starts 17 of 18 games played in 2024 and recorded three assists.

 


 
 
 
 

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

 

Alex Knight

Forward, Shreveport United

Against a team Shreveport United had yet to beat previously, Alex Knight proved to be the driving force offensively to achieve the historic feat for the club. Knight put Shreveport up first with a goal in the 13’ of the seven-goal thriller against Hattiesburg FC. 
 

 

Down 2-1 in the second half, Knight gave Shreveport the lead once more with a goal in the 69’. A couple minutes shy of regulation the win was in reach for the Louisiana-based club, but Hattiesburg equalized in the 88’ to draw the game back level. The incoming freshman wasn’t done yet. Knight netted the game winner in stoppage time to win it 4-3 for Shreveport. 
 

 

Knight will start her college career in the Fall with Southeastern University.

 

 

 

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

 

Jordan Crockett

Defender, Chattanooga FC

After opening the season with a shutout in the South Region Matchup of the Week, Jordan Crockett helped Chattanooga FC secure its second win at home after going down in the opening minutes of the match against a strong Georgia Impact. 
 

 

“Jordan is an impressive leader and defender,” Maryn Beutler, Chattanooga FC associate head coach, said. “After we conceded early, she was an instrumental part of ensuring we didn’t concede again — even while playing a man down for several minutes. Her leadership, defensive ability, and organization were key factors in securing the 2-1 win.”

 

Crockett recorded 1404 minutes for the University of Denver in 2024, making 15 starts of 18 games played. Crocket became the sixth Pioneer to play in at least 90 career matches.

 


 
 
 
 

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

 

Cherrie Cox

Forward, FC Premier

With two wins under its belt, FC Premier played two road games in three days for the week. Cherrie Cox played a massive impact in lifting the club to a 4-0-0 record on the season. Against LA Surf Soccer Club, Cox tallied four goals in the first 40 minutes of play with 100% accuracy - four goals in four shots.
 

 

In the second game against the No. 4 team in the West. and No. 21 nationally, Beach Futbol Club, the Long Beach State junior scored the game winner in the 84’ to secure the win and stay undefeated.

 

 

 

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

 

Elizabeth Ludwig

Goalkeeper, So Cal Union FC

1 shutout | 90 min | 12 saves

Elizabeth Ludwig helped So Cal Union FC earn its second win of 2025. With 12 saves, Ludwig secured the cleansheet and has yet to allow a goal in 180 minutes.
 

 

The sophomore keeper started 15 games for Westmont College in 2024 and only allowed three goals on the season in 1439 minutes. Ludwig faced 21 shots, saving 10.
