Narissa Fults led Oklahoma City FC to two wins in Matchweek Five by way of a hat trick and assist. The forward from Norman, Okla. has contributed to the club’s best starts since the 2011 WPSL season.
Fults played 18 matches for the University of Arizona in 2024 while making seven starts and recording four goals and three assists in her first year with the Wildcats.

Yeirdan Padilla doubled WPSL newcomers, Peoria City’s lead in the 38’ of its only match in Matchweek Five. The defender also helped Peoria to its second shutout in back-to-back weeks while making tackles to prevent goal-scoring opportunities. Padilla was never beaten during 1v1s and earned woman of the match honors from the club.
Padilla made 22 starts in the 22 games played for Heartland Community College in 2024. The Columbia native scored six times and tallied three assists. Padilla has transferred to Alcorn State for the 2025 collegiate season.

Paige Seitz

Paige Seitz made a massive impact on FC Monmouth’s biggest test of its inaugural season, playing three games while facing the top two teams in the Colonial Division. After losing 3-0 at home, Seitz and Monmouth traveled to the No. 19 national-ranked SJEB FC in the return match where the midfielder netted the 85’ game-winning goal.
In its third match of the week against Delaware Ospreys, Seitz assisted on the opening goal to give Monmouth an early lead before recording a goal herself in the 30’, making it 2-0. In the 65’, Seitz converted a penalty to secure Monmouth’s 4-2 win.
Seitz’ performance helped FC Monmouth earn WPSL’s Team of the Week honors.

Madison Wessel

Madison Wessel played two games in three days for SJEB FC three-game schedule in Matchweek Five. The Longwood University sophomore recorded 45 minutes in the net during the club’s 4-0 before collecting another cleansheet two days later after 90 minutes of action. Wessel made 11 saves on the win and is credited for two shutouts.
Wessel made nearly 550 saves during the four years of her high school tenure before committing to Longwood University where she will begin her sophomore season in the Fall. As a senior, Wessel was named as one of the top players in New Jersey by NJ.com after 190 saves in 18 games. Wessel was also a two-time All-State selection and named to the All-Conference First Team and Second Teams her senior and junior years.

In just 45 min’, Katie Johnston made a statement in the West Florida Flames’ only game of Matchweek Five, proving she’s a true offensive threat in her young career. The University of Florida freshman contributed to five goals by scoring three and assisting two others, giving the Flames its biggest win of the 2025 season.
Johnston has been ranked in the Top 20 of best forwards in the nations and named the No. 52 best player in the nation by TopDrawerSoccer. Johnston earned ECNL All-American honors in 2022 and 2023.

Madi Hook not only helped Georgia Impact to its second shutout of the season, the East Tennessee State senior also contributed offensively by scoring two goals and assisting on the third of the Impact’s 3-0 win in Matchweek Five.
Hook started 16 of the 16 games she played during the 2024 collegiate season while recording over 1300 minutes of action. Hook was named to the All-SoCon Second Team.

Yesenia Cisneros

Yesenia Cisneros and El Paso Surf hosted the then-undefeated Royals AZ who had scored 12 goals in its previous three matches. In the nine-goal thriller, Cisneros entered the match off the bench with El Paso down 2-0 to bring the Surf back level with two goals in two minutes. The incoming freshman for UTEP, equalized again in the 53’ by assisting on El Paso’s third goal of the night and helping the club take the 5-4 victory.
Yesenia scored over 100 goals in her high school career and was four-time district champion. The El Paso native will start at UTEP in the Fall.

Sierra Sythe
Defender, Beach Futbol Club

Sierra Sythe and Beach Futbol Club hit the road in Matchweek Five, facing two of the top ranked opponents in the West Region. With 180 min of playing time between the game contests, Sythe was a relentless force on both sides of the ball, logging nearly 14 miles as a wing back. Her engine and defensive awareness helped solidify the back line that tied the No. 7 team in the West and beat the No. 6 team in the West during the region’s Matchup of the Week. The Wake Forest sophomore’s impact was felt everywhere on the pitch..
After missing the full 2023 season for Wake Forest due to injury, Sythe started in 18 of the 24 matches she played in 2024. Sythe helped the Demon Deacons to one of the best defensive records in the ACC and NCAA. Sythe also tallied an assist in the NCAAW College Cup Semifinals against Stanford.
