LA KREWE RUSH NEED EXTRA TIME TO GET PAST MCLEAN SOCCER 

 

LA Krewe Rush got past McLean Soccer in extra time 3-2 to advance to the South Region Playoffs Final Sunday in Leesburg, Va. The two clubs played to a 1-1 draw in regularon. 

 

After a scoreless first half, Haily Waterhouse broke the deadlock from the penalty spot in the 77th minute to put LA Krewe Rush up 1-0. 

 

It looked like LKR had done enough when Evelyn Javers equalized for McLean in the second minute of stoppage time to send the game to extra time. 

 

From there it was all LA Krewe. Remmie Noel and Maria Portas scored in extra time to put LA Krewe Rush through to the South Region Finals.

With the win, LA Krewe Rush moves to 2-0-0 in the postseason and 6-2-1 overall.
