Chowan senior Ysa Novak claims Sunshine Division’s Defensive Player of the Year honor in Kings Hammer Swan City’s debut WPSL season.
THIRD COAST DIVISION - Bela Labović, Pensacola FC
West Florida alumna (2024) Bela Labović captures Defensive Player of the Year award for Third Coast Division after leading a Pensacola FC defense that only allowed third goals in 10 games on the season en route to back-to-back division titles.
MISSISSIPPI DELTA CONFERENCE - Sara Daniel, Little Rock Rangers SC
Harding junior Sara Daniel helped Little Rock Rangers SC become Mississippi Delta Conference champions after leading a defense that recorded a 0.3 goals against average on an unbeaten season, securing her Defensive Player of the Year honor for the Mississippi Delta.
SOUTHEAST CONFERENCE - Harper Hudepohl, Georgia Impact
Southeast Conference’s Defensive Player of the Year is awarded to Georgia Impact’s Harper Hudepohl after helping the Impact to its best WPSL season in three years that capped off with its first conference and regional titles and WPSL Championships appearance. Hudepohl will begin her freshman season with Dartmouth this Fall.
