DESERT DIVISION - Shania Walters, FC Tucson
Southern junior Shanie Walter is named Desert Division’s Defensive Player of the Year after helping FC Tucson record three shutouts and defeating the top-two teams in the division, respectively.
ROCKIES DIVISION - Brielyn Knowles, Northern Colorado Rain FC
LSU junior helped Northern Colorado Rain FC allow the least amount of goals in the division in 2026 en route to her Best XI selection and Rockies Division Defensive Player of the Year honor.
WASATCH DIVISION - Kennedy Fletcher, La Roca FC
La Roca FC’s Kennedy Fletcher is recognized as Wasatch Division’s Defensive Player of the Year for 2026. Fletcher will kick off her junior season at Utah this Fall.

CENTRAL VALLEY DIVISION - Regan Stiner, San Ramon FC
UC Santa Barbara senior Regan Stiner tabbed Central Valley Division’s Defensive Player of the Year for San Ramon FC.
SACRAMENTO VALLEY DIVISION - Jackie Tamayo, Napa Valley 1839 FC
UC Merced senior Jackie Tamayo helped Napa Valley 1839 FC record three shutouts in 2026 en route to her first Best XI selection and Defensive Player of the Year for the Sacramento Valley.
PAC NORTHWEST - Zoe Crockett, Spokane Shadow
Three-time Best XI selection recipient Zoe Crockett (Point Loma, 2025) is named Pac Northwest’s Defensive Player of the Year for Spokane Shadow.

COASTAL DIVISION - Kylie Perez, FC Premier
FC Premier’s Kylie Perez wins Coastal Division Defensive Player of the Year for the 2026 season. Perez will kick off her senior season at Long Beach State this Fall.
PLYMOUTH DIVISION - Charlie Gerson, Rebels Soccer Club
San Diego State junior Charlie Gerson tabbed Plymouth Division’s Defensive Player of the Year for Rebels Soccer Club.
