FORT WORTH, Texas — Defending Lone Star Conference champions Austin Rise FC (1-0-0) picked up three crucial points with a 1-0 road win at Fort Worth Vaqueras (0-0-1). Kylie Snell scored the game winner in the 70^th minute. Liesel Tetemeyer earned the clean sheet in goal for Austin.

RIVERSIDE, Mo. — Heartland Division action kicked off Sunday with a Kansas City Current II (1-0-0) win over FC Wichita (0-0-1). Taliana Kaufusi scored four goals, Alexa Heredia-Beltran and Khari Hontz tallied braces, and Avery Clark, Jacy Hackler, Brooklyn Robbins, and Baiya Brewer added goals in the win. Kaylin Williams-Mosier kept the score sheet clean in goal for Kansas City.
