OKLAHOMA CITY (April tk, 2026) — The Women’s Premier Soccer League announced the addition of King’s Hammer FC Swan City for the 2026 WPSL season. The announcement of the Tampa-based club brings the total number of four West Florida clubs competing in the Sunshine Division.
Kings Hammer FC is the pre-professional arm of the Ohio-based King’s Hammer Soccer Club. Founded in 2020, Kings Hammer FC is modeled after clubs worldwide, with its pre-professional clubs serving as the pinnacle of the Kings Hammer club pyramid, providing its players the next step after graduating from the youth academy system.
The club began playing at the pre-professional level on the women’s side in 2022, adding the Kings Hammer FC Swan City franchise in 2025.
Kings Hammer FC Sun City kicks off its inaugural season with a two-match homestand starting, Wednesday, May 27 hosting division powerhouse, West Florida Flames, followed by sister expansion side, Bay City Reign on Saturday, June Six. The eight-game season concludes on the road at Bay City Reign on Saturday, June 27.
