The first of four goals was scored by forward Jessica Castorina in the 48th minute. Juelle Love turned at the top of Fever’s 18-yard-box, served the ball straight to Castorina who scored her first goal for City.

A few minutes later, Juelle Love turned once again at the top of the box and ripped a shot on goalkeeper Tessa Pratt to put Love City FC on top. However, Love City FC did not take their foot off the gas.

Claire Ballinger played Beky Myers who shot on the floor at Pratt giving City a two-goal lead. Ballinger later went on to hit a volley outside the box, bouncing past Kylie Zimmerman reassuring fans that Love City FC are doing everything they can to walk away with their first win of the season.

In the 75th minute, Love City FC goalkeeper Laura Shea secured her first minutes with the club, making three saves to maintain Love City’s lead. Despite her efforts Fever FC forward Adrianna Ryder took Shea on at the top of the box and was able to put one more away before the half ended, making the final score 4-2.

Later in the day, Love City FC’s U23 team continued the club's winning streak with a 1-0 win over NJA FC — an historic weekend to say the least.
