SAINT CHARLES, Mo. (June 5, 2026) — Missouri Rush WPSL made history Friday evening, hosting its first-ever home match at Incarnate Word Academy in front of nearly 100 supporters. The game ended in a hard-fought two to two draw against Missouri Reign in a match that showcased the resilience and competitiveness of the club's newest pathway.

Missouri Reign struck first, with Callie McMurtrey finding the back of the net to give Reign an early advantage.

Missouri Rush responded before the end of the half, however, as Tori Bockstadter capitalized in the 41st minute to level the match at one-one heading into the break.

The home side carried that momentum directly heading into the second half, taking the lead shortly after the break. Rush was suited to secure all three points of the match before Missouri Reign found a late goal in the 84th minute, forcing the match to end in a 2-2 draw.

While the result may not have been the win Missouri Rush was seeking, the evening marked an important milestone for the club as it welcomed fans to the first home match in Missouri Rush WPSL history. The energy from the crowd and the determination displayed on the field reflected the foundation being built for the program's future.

"It was an important game for us, as it was our first home game. Many coaches and players have paved a way for us to get here," Scott McCall, Missouri Rush WPSL head coach, said. " It was great to showcase our talented team in our WPSL program. We appreciate all of the home supporters."
