MUSTANG, Okla. (June 4, 2026) — After managing just three goals combined in its previous two matches, Oklahoma City FC regained its offensive rhythm Wednesday night, receiving goals from five
different players in a 5-1 victory over FC Wichita.
The win was the ScissorTails’ fourth straight to open the season and extended their regular season unbeaten streak to 15 matches, the fifth-longest active streak in the WPSL.
Oklahoma City FC broke through in the 36th minute when Rylee Howard capitalized on a defensive miscue and buried her second goal of the season. Just three minutes later, Howard set up Jasilyn Ferguson
for her first goal in an Oklahoma City FC uniform and a 2-0 halftime advantage. Ferguson’s strike proved to be the game-winner.
The ScissorTails continued to press after the break. Londynn Hagan made it 3-0 in the 60th minute, one-timing a cross from defender Landri Allee for her first goal of the season and seventh of her Oklahoma City FC career.
Six minutes later, Oklahoma City FC struck again on a nearly identical sequence from the opposite flank. Howard delivered a low cross from the right side that found Addy Johnson, who converted for her first WPSL goal and a 4-0 lead.
Another newcomer joined the scoresheet in the 76th minute when Halley Jae Coffey finished a clean setup from Jenna Munson to extend the advantage to 5-0. Coffey was later sent off in the 86th minute following a challenge involving an opponent’s head area and will miss Saturday’s match because of suspension.
Defensively, Oklahoma City FC appeared headed toward its third shutout of the season. OKC FC did not allow a shot on goal through the opening 85 minutes before FC Wichita’s Charley Kerchen broke free on a breakaway and slipped a shot past goalkeeper Breanna Wooten to spoil the clean sheet.
Callie Sullivan earned the victory after playing the first 60 minutes in goal, improving to 4-0-0 on the
season.
The victory was Oklahoma City FC’s sixth consecutive win over FC Wichita.
Oklahoma City FC returns to action Saturday when it travels to Overland Park, Kan., to face Sunflower
State FC in a 6 p.m. kickoff. The ScissorTails opened the season at home with a 5-0 victory over
Sunflower State FC on May 23.
