Oklahoma City FC 5-0 Sunflower State FC

MUSTANG, Okla. (June 24, 2026) - Oklahoma City FC broke open a tight match with four second-half goals to defeat Sunflower State FC 5-0 in its WPSL season opener Saturday night at Bronco Soccer Stadium.

Forward Rylee McLanahan sparked the ScissorTails early, collecting a through ball from Narissa Fults and blasting a left-footed shot inside the near post for a 1-0 lead.

Despite controlling possession throughout the opening half, Oklahoma City FC struggled to find a consistent rhythm in the attacking third and carried the one-goal advantage into halftime.

McLanahan struck again shortly after the break, finishing a feed from Hannah Mondi to double the lead. Six minutes later, the reigning conference offensive player of the year delivered a curling corner kick to the far post, where Hannah Voskuhl headed home her third career goal to make it 3-0.

The ScissorTails continued to press in the 61st minute when Mondi scored off another assist from Fults. Fults capped a three-assist night in the 85th minute, setting up Rylee Howard for the final goal of the evening.

Goalkeeper Callie Sullivan opened her fifth WPSL season with the club by recording her eighth career league shutout.

With the win, Oklahoma City FC extended its regular season unbeaten streak to 12 games. The defending WPSL Midwest Conference champions travel to FC Wichita on Wednesday for a 7 p.m. kickoff.
