RIVERSIDE, Mo. (July 19, 2026) — Kansas City Current II is the 2026 WPSL Champions. Avery Clark nodded home the game winner off a corner kick from Ally Henry in the 39th to give Current II the 1-0 win over New York Athletic Club Sunday night at Riverside Stadium.
Clark was named Outstanding Player of the Match for her game-winning goal. Goalkeeper Evelyn Vitali and defenders Naila Schoefberger and Itala Gemelli anchored a Current II defense that did not give up a goal in the postseason. Schoefberger was named Defensive Outstanding Player of the Match. This is Kansas City Current II’s first WPSL title. Full story to follow.
