OKLAHOMA CITY (May 21, 2026) — The Women’s Premier Soccer League handed out its weekly honors for Week Two awarding nine players regional recognition as Players of the Week presented by Global Scarves.
CENTRAL REGION - Sophia McMillan, MF, Chicago House AC
Sophia McMillan gave Chicago House AC an early lead in its Week Two matchup against Bavarian United SC in Milwaukee with a goal in the first 15 minutes of play. The incoming freshman midfielder for the University of Illinois led Chicago to a hard fought draw after falling in both meetings to Bavarian in 2025. McMillan played the full 90 minutes, tallying four shots on goal and proving to be very dangerous with each touch.
EAST REGION - Taylor Krott, MF, Real Central NJ
In the opening match of her second season with Real Central NJ, the College of New Jersey sophomore secured a big win over Philadelphia expansion Kensington Soccer Club, scoring the winning goal in the final nine minutes of a game, breaking a deadlock established in the 51st minute.
SOUTH REGION - Hope Santaniello, F, West Florida Flames
In a weather-stricken Tampa game day, marred by lengthy delays, Hope Santaniello kept West Florida Flames on track to win its first match of the 2026. The recent UMass Lowell grad recorded 50 minutes of play and tallied a brace and assist to contribute to three of the Flames seven goals on the night. Santaniello proved to be a constant threat in the final third with her speed and power in creating goal-scoring opportunities.
WEST REGION - Camryn Dillingham, F, California Storm
UCLA commit tallied a brace in California Storm’s second win of the season. In her 50 total minutes on the field, Dillingham scored in the 37th minute off the post and converted a penalty in the final minutes of the match to secure Storm’s 5-0 win.

CENTRAL REGION - Megan Cornell, D, Bavarian United SC
After goaling down in the 13th minute of the match against Chicago House AC at home, Wisconsin-Madison junior defender held the Bavarian backline strong to hold out a dangerous Chicago side the rest of the match. Cornell made three crucial stops to prevent a goal and won five 1v1s to secure the draw.
EAST REGION - Siani Magruder, D, Kensington Soccer Club
In their WPSL debut, Siani Magruder kept Kensington Soccer Club competitive against a division frontrunner. Despite the heartbreak loss in the final minutes, Siani made 13 defensive stops, including a headed save to keep the ball out of the net. The former NJIT center back made an impact offensively as well, tallying an assist on the equalizer in the 51st minute.
SOUTH REGION - Lauren Mercer, D, Shreveport United
LSU Shreveport defender, Lauren Mercer, held Mississippi Blues SC scoreless for 90 minutes to secure a huge draw at home.
“Lauren was an integral part of our defense, neutralizing one of the most dynamic attacking players in our league over the last several years,” Mark Matlock, Shreveport United head coach, said. “She had several important tackles and was dangerous going forward in the attack. Despite being consistently fouled all game she stayed focused and had a fantastic game.”
WEST REGION - Savannah Leifried, D, California Storm
California Storm’s young backline is proving to be a real defensive force for its NorCal competition. USC commit, Savannah Leifried was dominant on both sides of the ball against Yuba Football Club and helped the Storm not only to its second shutout of the season, but also its win with scoring the opening goal and tallying an assist on the night. The defender played 50 minutes.

SOUTH REGION - Josey Davis, Gulf Coast United
Josey Davis helped Gulf Coast United to its second shutout of the season and move to the top of the Third Coast Division table. The Pearl River CC sophomore combined for a clean sheet while making two crucial saves to retain Gulf Coast’s lead, including a fingertip save over the bar.
