HAHIRA, Ga. — Gulf Coast United (1-0-0) topped hosts Valdosta FC (0-0-1) 4-1 Saturday at North Lowndes Park. The match was Valdosta FC’s WPSL debut. Phoebe Prescott put the hosts in the lead before Gulf Coast United responded with goals by Jennifer Lopez, Chloe Brock, Claire Byars, and Alesha Gale.

West Florida Flames Academy 2-0 Bay City Reign

BRANDON, Fla. — West Florida Flames Academy (1-0-0) picked up three points with a 2-0 win over Bay City Reign (0-0-1) in both sides’ WPSL debut. Sophia Maxwell and Aliyah Couper scored goals in the first quarter of an hour to give the hosts the win.
