PINEVILLE, N.C. — WFC of Charlotte (6-0-1) handed NCFC Navy (6-1-1) its first loss of the season with a 2-1 home win on Thursday. Juju Contreras scored from the penalty spot to make it 1-0 NCFC in the 35th minute. Meredith Palmer equalized for Charlotte in the 68th minute, and Addison Peoples scored the winner in the 84th.

HAHIRA, Ga. — Emeryn Quint scored the equalizer in the 80th minute and Norah Petermann scored the game-winner for Pensacola FC Academy (2-4-4) in a 3-2 comeback win at Valdosta FC (0-1-7). Justice Colburn opened scoring for Valdosta in the 14th minute before Petermann equalized just before halftime. Phoebe Prescott put the hosts in front in the 53rd minute but the lead did not hold.
