USTARS Group Matchups of the Week Six

The Pac Northwest Conference kicks off Week Six Matchups of the Week presented by USTARS Group, followed by the return match of 5-4 barnburner in the Carolinas. Out in Chicago, one of the hottest teams in all the WPSL looks to extend its Lake Shore Conference lead, with a New Jersey derby wrapping things up as teams jockey for position heading into the homestretch of the season.

Friday, June 12

Westside Metros FC (1-0-1) vs. Spokane Shadow (2-0-0)

Pac Northwest Conference

Westside Metros FC look to avenge last Sunday’s 3-1 away loss at Spokane in the return match at Sherwood Middle School. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. PDT.

Last week’s match saw the home side jump out to an early lead through goals by Jennah Waner in the 27th minute and Noelle Raczykowski in the 39th. Delani Walker made it 3-0 in the 68th before Eva Vassopoulous pulled one back for the visitors with fifteen minutes to play. Westside opened the season with a 6-0 road win at Vancouver Victory. Hailey Monson scored twice in the win, and Ellie Felt, Valssopoulous, and Kylee Schreck scored in the win. Hailey Patlan kept the clean sheet in goal for Westside. Spokane’s Week Three win over Vancouver was a forfeit. Spokane enters Friday’s match on short rest after facing Portland Thorns FC II on Wednesday at Providence Park. The clubs split the series last season. Westside Metros FC winning 2-0 at Spokane in Week Five. Spokane returned the favor in Week Eight beating the Metros 3-0 in Sherwood.

Saturday, June 13

Carolina FC (3-0-1) vs. WFC of Charlotte (2-0-1)

Atlantic Conference – Carolinas Division

Division-leading Carolina FC travels to Pineville, N.C. looking to avenge its midweek 4-2 loss to WFC of Charlotte last week. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Pleasant Park in Apex, N.C.

Last Wednesday’s back-and-forth affair had the visiting Carolina FC jump out to a 1-0 lead in the second minute with a Katherine Paulakonis goal. Gabby Vatrano equalized for the home side 12 minutes later. Gabriela Enciso made it 2-1 for the visitors in the 19th minute before Meredith Palmer leveled things at two at the half hour mark. Caroline Palmer put Charlotte in the lead for the first time of the match in the 60th minute and May May Spinner made it 4-2 in the 89th. Carolina enters Saturday’s match on short rest after traveling to Raleigh to face NCFC Navy on Wednesday. NCFC Navy accounts for WFC of Charlotte’s only loss on the season: 5-2 in Raleigh last Sunday. Carolina Football Club took the series between the two clubs in 2025 winning 2-0 at Charlotte in Week Five before playing to a 1-1 draw in Apex three days later.

Chicago House AC (4-1-0) vs. Green Bay Glory (1-1-2)

Lake Shore Conference

Lake Shore Conference leaders Chicago House AC host Green Bay Glory Sunday at Langhorst Field at 3 p.m.

Chicago House AC is a very different team than the one that dropped both games to Green Bay last season: 4-1 in Green Bay and 2-1 at home. After opening the season with a tough 1-1 road draw at Bavarian United SC, Chicago House opened Week Four at Green Bay, making a statement with a 2-0 win. Wins against FC Milwaukee Torrent, Chicago KICS, and Milwaukee City followed. Alexis Suptela and Amalia Dray lead Chicago in scoring with three goals each. Green Bay enters Sunday’s match coming off a difficult stretch going 1-0-1 in consecutive games versus Bavarian United SC, falling 4-0 on the road and playing to a 0-0 draw in Green Bay. Green Bay opens Week Six hosting FC Milwaukee Torrent on Wednesday before Sunday’s clash with Chicago. Lanie Weikert leads Green Bay with three goals on the season.

Sunday, June 14

Real Central NJ (2-0-0) vs. FC Monmouth (1-1-2)

Mid-Atlantic Conference – Colonial Division

FC Monmouth travels to West Windsor to face Real Central NJ on Sunday at Mercer County Community College. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m.

Sunday is the first meeting between the two sides in 2026. Last year FC Monmouth took the series between the two New Jersey-based clubs, winning 3-2 on the road and 3-1 in Red Bank. Real Central NJ sits two points out of the top spot in the Colonial Division, facing division leaders Love City FC at home on Tuesday before Sunday’s clash with Monmouth. Real Central kicked off its 2026 campaign with a Week Two 2-1 win at Kensington Soccer Club, followed with a 2-0 home win over Philadelphia Ukrainian Nationals-Liberty in Week Five. Monmouth started the season with a 2-2 draw at home versus Kensington before suffering consecutive road losses to Penn Fusion and Fever SC before getting its first win of the season Sunday, topping Delaware Ospreys 5-3. This is the only meeting between the two clubs this season.
