OKLAHOMA CITY (June 25, 2026) — The Women’s Premier Soccer League announces its winners of Week Seven’s regional Players of the Week presented by Global Scarves, the exclusive personalized merchandise partner of the Women’s Premier Soccer League.
San Francisco Nighthawks sweep West Region’s Offensive Player and Goalkeeper of the Week honors with Sydney Grundland-Landuza and Addison Bowles while Arlington SA U21’s Sofia Tomita and Olivia Critchfield collect defensive and goalkeeper honors for the South Region.
Senah Hanes (Bavarian United SC), Kayleigh Goodrich (Brooklyn City F.C.), and Mireya Stephenson (Georgia Impact) earned Offensive Player of the Week awards. Kennedy Green (Texas Lone Star S.C.) and Carmen Reinerink (Brooklyn City F.C.) garner Defensive POTW honors, and Missouri Reign’s Katy Fitzler is named Goalkeeper of the Week for the Central Region.
CENTRAL REGION - Senah Hanes, F, Bavarian United SC
Senah Hanes , a sophomore atUW-Green Bay led Bavarian United SC to two much-needed wins in Week Seven to keep it in contention for the Lake Shore conference title., contributing to five of the club’s seven goals, earning her Central Region’s Offensive Player of the Week.
In the first game of the week, Hanes scored a five-minute brace in the first quarter of an hour e of the match before adding an assist in the 3-1 win. Hanes tallied another brace in the first half in game two, this time scoring the two goals in three minutes of the 4-0 win.
Hanes offensive contribution moved Bavarians to the top of the table and seated her as the club’s leader scorer and just two goals shy of the conference’s overall top scorer.
EAST REGION - Kayleigh Goodrich, MF, Brooklyn City F.C.
Kayleigh Goodrich earned East Region’s Offensive Player of the Week after leading Brooklyn City F.C. to a 4-0 win against one of the top teams in the Metropolitan Conference, which previously allowed just four goals all season.
The Adelphi University senior contributed to three of Brooklyn’s four goals in the contest tallying two goals and an assist, resulting in Brooklyn City’s second-highest winning margin of the season.
SOUTH REGION - Mireya Stephenson, F, Georgia Impact
University of Arizona sophomore Mireya Stephenson led Georgia Impact to a big win in Week Seven off two goals and an assist to secure the Southeast Conference title and South Region’s Offensive Player of the Week.
Logging 60 minutes on field, Stephenson converted two of her four shots on goal, scoring in the second and 77th minutes and tallying an assist in the 4-1 victory, earning Impact’s first conference title since joining the WPSL in 2023.
WEST REGION - Sydney Grundland-Lanuza, MF, San Francisco Nighthawks
Seattle University’s Sydney Grundland-Lanuza game-winning goal led the Nighthawks to crucial three points in what could be a deciding result in the Central Valley Division title race and the West Region’s Offensive Player of the Week honors.
Grundland-Lanuza opened scoring in the 13th minute of the contest between two of the top teams in the division before netting her brace just before halftime to put the Nighthawks back in the lead, which would hold through the second half and secure the big road-victory.

CENTRAL REGION - Kennedy Green, D, Texas Lone Star S.C.
Kennedy Green and Texas Lone Star S.C. met a Fort Worth Vaqueras FC side in Week Seven that game into the contest averaging 1.5 goals per game. Green’s performance kept the Vaqueras scoreless for nearly 70 minutes and allowed her offensive the opportunity to equalize in the hard-fought draw.
The former St. Andrews University defender played 80 minutes of the match, clearing three potential goals off the line, and helping draw the Vaqueras offside six times, earning her Central Region’s Defensive Player of the Week.
EAST REGION - Carmen Reinerink, D, Brooklyn City F.C.
Carmen Reinerink of Adelphia University led Brooklyn City F.C. to its second shutout of the season, blanking a top-Metropolitan contender which came into the contest averaging two goals per game. Reinerink prevented four scoring opponents playing 90 minutes, earning East Region’s Defensive Player of the Week.
SOUTH REGION - Sofia Tomita, D, Arlington SA U21
Before an in-game injury limited her on-field performance to just 60 minutes, high schooler Sofia Tomita’s defensive effort made a significant impact to Arlington SA U21’s back line with four defensive stops to secure the 3-1 win and South Region’s Defensive Player of the Week.

CENTRAL REGION - Katy Fitzler, Missouri Reign
Drury University’s Kate Fitzler made seven saves in the second half that led to Missouri Reign’s first shutout of the season and second consecutive win, securing her Goalkeeper of the Week for the East Region.
“Katy does a lot of the unseen intangibles, playing with her feet, communication and organization and is an incredible leader for our team,” Dakota Acock, Missouri Reign’s head coach, said.
SOUTH REGION - Olivia Critchfield, Arlington SA U21
High schooler Olivia Critchfield held The St. James FC to just one goal in Arlington SA U21’s 3-1 win, making five saves in her 90 minutes of play, securing Goalkeeper of the Week for the South Region.
“She [Critchfield] continues to impress her teammates and staff with her maturity and calm presence in the net,” Jenny Yu Riemer, Arlington SA U21 director of operations and staff coach, said. “Her youth in age rarely shows on the field and we are grateful to have her as a part of our team and program.”
WEST REGION - Addison Bowles, San Francisco Nighthawks
In what will likely result in one of the Nighthawks most important head-to-heads in regular-season, high school senior Addison Bowles fended off a dangerous Fuego Femenil while collecting a second-half clean sheet.
Playing the full 90 minutes, Bowles made six crucial saves in the 2-1 win and defended against five corners in the final 10 minutes of regulation to keep Fuego from finding its equalizer Bowles’ preference kept the Nighthawks division title hopes alive that could eventually impact postseason play, earning her West Region’s Goalkeeper of the Week.
