The Fire SC 98 coaches and players will be putting on three weeks of summer soccer camps during the month of June this summer. The camps will be open to both boys and girls, but will be split into separate age groups (6-12 and 13-18) to provide appropriate levels of skills work and competition to each participant. Each age group will receive elite training from coaches with collegiate and international experience and get to interact and play with current and past collegiate soccer players.
Fire GM, Aaron Tilsen explains why the team has added this extra team feature this summer, "We had such a amazing season in 2018, but we felt like something was missing. This year we wanted to engage more with our youth soccer communities and grow the game through other ways than just game days."
These camps are scheduled for June 10-12, June 17-19, and June 24-27. Each week of camps will service different communities around the twin cities metro. Camp locations include the Vadnais Heights, Prior Lake, Maple Grove, Blaine, West St. Paul, Eden Prairie, Champlin, Minneapolis, and Maplewood communities. Each location will have three days of camp from Monday-Wednesday.
